they have no idea what will happen tomorrow.

She looked around at the empty barren field.
The overcasted grey sky.
Soon it'll be night, she thought to herself.
Where is my home, can someone tell.

Hello, i've a disclaimer to make beforehand.
my laptop cant connect to the interent after i downloaded all the images into it so i had to change to my sis's laptop which im currently using in vain.
i just dont exactly like it.
and i cant find the photos that i had saved for today's post.

2nd disclaimer, i believe today's post will be rather lengthy.
do bear with me, i feel like i might just explode to glitter and furballs if i dont continue.

So, a short summary of what's been up.
i've decided to be serious about the eoys this time round.
i drew up a timetable for it,
and all my friends are doubting i'll follow it, and it was highly possible.
but yeah, im gonna try my best to follow it.
for starters, i studied biology today.

Alright, nao the main part of the entry.
i watched Animal's Night on the okto channel yesterday.
i believe the show was title 'Predators'.
and one of the animals that caught my eye was the cheetah.

Yes, the show was grusome.
telling us how the cheetah kills and attacks for food.
generally people assume that cheetahs' are carnivorous, cruel cat-like animals.
little do they know the truth, and so didnt i.
until yesterday.

You see, hyneas are the cheetah's predator.
Hyneas attacks for the cheetah cubs.
and in order to protect the cubs, the cheetah has to do the whole sprinting feat.
which has its heart pumping 270 times/min, (a human heart beats 72 times/min only)
to send oxygen to their muscles in order to sprint well.
yes, every leap is 7m long.
apart from all these scientific facts, it also meant that they could only run for a short distance.
after the run, they'll be extremely tired.
their muscles will ache, they wont be able to move, they'll be on starvation.

(i already find this amazing)
In order to keep themselves alive -mother and cubs-,
she has to hunt for meat.
in order to do that, she strains her entire body to catch just one deer.
feeding the cubs with most of the food.

Is this the end of their daily meal?
nope, the hyneas come about again.
attacking the mother cheetah at her weakest.
At this point of time, the mother cheetah is exhausted.
but in order to protext her cubs, she stands up again.
her heart pumps at 280/min nao, in order to keep her babies alive.
she starts defending her babies as the hynea strikes.
the hynea howls.
3 more hyneas approach the battle field.
they were hungry.
it was either the half eaten deer/ the cubs.

The mother cheetah aint giving in.
her legs started to shiver, she dropped on to the floor.
but she continued hissing at the 4 hyneas.
perhaps it was fatigue that took over the hyneas.
they grabbed the meat and dragged it home.

she gave a sigh, a cry.
that deer she painstakingly got for her cubs, was gone.
the cubs climbed down the tree, lied beside her.
made soothing noises, trying to comfort their mother.

The cheetahs and Hyneas were never enemies for a long time.
they had never really bothered about each other, the vast grassland ensured them to have proper lodging and sufficient food.
they were'nt supposed to eat each other.
but the grasslands have been cleared by humans, for farming and plantation.
the cheetahs no longer have their homes.

At the rate of the burning and clearing of grasslands,
the cheetahs would most likely be extinct very soon.
and by soon, i meant this moment, tomorrow, the next month, the next year.

I do not know what you guys think,
but to me i find this unfair.
for the cheetahs, the animals.
they did us no harm, yet all we do is hunt for their skins and destroy their homes.
they were merely living their own lives, why do we have to intefere and cause them to suffer?

Maybe some of you think im being ridiculous and all,
but im thoroughly upset over this whole human issue.
the things humans do without giving a damn care to see if others were going to suffer or not.
its cruel.

PEACE Y.
