nope i didnt make these, gonna attempt them one day!

Made chocolate cake last sunday,
dellllllllliciousssss~
:>

It's really easy to make, do try it yourself!
It's actually a japanese version of the cake, so it's pretty healthy aaaaaand oishiiii :D

Japanese Chocolate Cake

1.5 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil (any type would do)
1 cup cold water/coffee
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon vinegar (i used jap vinegar, but the normal white ones are fine)
1- 1.5 cup chocolate chips

-disclaimer-
I used about 0.75 cup of sugar cause 1 cup looks too sugary and fattening for me, and the cake still turned out pretty sweet so adjust according to your preference.

Also, use FINE sugar and not coarse sugar. I used coarse sugar by accident the last time, and had such a terrible time sifiting it. But it worked out fine, though fine sugar would be better.

As for vinegar, dont freak out. It's used to react w the baking soda. FYI, baking soda is NOT baking powder. Your cake would be a disaster if you use b.p instead.

And for the choco chips, use as much as you like (: i dumped the entire box of it into the mix ^^

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Preheat oven to 180 degree celcius.

2. Sift all the dry ingredients excluding choco chips (flour, cocoa, bakingsoda, salt, sugar) into a bowl.

3. Mix the wet ingredients (except vinegar) in another bowl.

4. Add liquid ingredients to the dry, mix well.

5. Add choco chips.

6. Add vinegar, and stir quickly. (DO NOT OVERMIX, it will look all marble-ish and stuff but it's okay)

7. Pour into a greased muffin tin or 9-inch cake pan.

8. Bake for about 18-25 mins or until the point where you test with a wooden skewer and it comes out clean.
