MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL OF YOU!
Had a wonderful christmas eve dinner with my family last night.
havent had so much fun together in a long while (:
Little silver tree
ANYWAY.
laugh at me or whatever not, but i do believe in santa!
Though im quite sure now that he doesnt visit houses and slide down chimneys and all.
But for the longggggest period of time (13-14 years), i really did thought santa visits my house and gives us presents and all.
You see, ever since i was young enough to remember anything, i always receive presents in the morning in the strangest places and my parents have always been telling me its santa who visited at night.
It's also the reason why christmas carols would be playing on christmas eve's night and my siblings and i would be fast asleep so that Santa would arrive.
Hahaha, but children grow up, and my older brother started doubting his existence.
On christmas mornings, we would be all up and bushy tailed around 5am or 6, running around the house looking for the presents.
For a couple of years when we were younger, it would be under our pillows, under the sofa, and even in the balcony!
And the presents we got usually tally with our wish list hahaha.
dolls, cooking toys, stationary, music box etc etc.
In recent years, it became small bottles of different perfumes!
Which no longer quite tallied with my wishlist but im still grateful nonetheless.
Hoho, as we grew up and well, got more suspicious, we started questioning my mum.
but damn, she never ever ever ever admits to anything!
plus it got weird cause my parents are always genuinely surprised at what gifts we receive each year.
Last Christmas was pretty terrible, i was demanding my mum to explain why the same gift wrapper from Santa's present was found in her closet and it grew into a hysterical mess.
I mean, i grew up believing in Santa.
Knowing that i've been lied to all the while made me feel... cheesy as it sounds, grown up and betrayed.
Haha.
Yknow, like how the children books always talk about grown ups not believing in gnomes and stuff.
that feeling wasnt too good.
This year, i woke up at 6am, to hunt for the presents with my sis.
My brother doesnt even bother anymore LOL.
(honestly, his choice did piss me off a few years back..)
So we found the presents easily this round, by the window sill.
I was still thinking if my Dad was Santa or not, and getting all puzzled when i went to ask my bro what he got.
i got another perfume fyi, but his was always kinda disappointing.
LOL here comes the wth part.
Somehow "Santa" got his gender wrong and gave him a stationary keychain set with hearts.
yes hearts.
that doesnt make sense at all does it??
Ah-hah! My lil sis got frustrated and went to interrogate my poor mum.
Poor mummy, she went all flustered and confused.
(no way could it be my mum or dad, they wouldnt buy such a bad present for him!)
Mummy was defiant and insisted on keeping mum.
So finaaaaaaally, we came to a deal.
She would tell us, but we wont get any more presents from Santa.
SIGH.
no more perfume :/
SO WHO IS SANTA???
a company.
LOL.
yaaaaaaaah, i dont know why that never came across my mind before wth.
maybe it's too adultish to like relate company and santa together.
who thinks about companies on christmas????
Anyway, for the past 16 years my parents have been hiring this company to buy gifts for us.
-bangswall-
no wonder they are truly surprised by our gifts o.O
Not to mention, they themselves buy separate gifts for us.
Mhm.
so here's the honest blatant truth about Santa o<|:O)
does that look like a face..
MEH.
i'll open an elf factory or something next time.
how can that company get the gender mixed up!
There there, no magic, no santa, no snow.
But still, MERRY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!
Im still believing that there's a Santa out there in Finland.
But maybe not as magical as we imagine him as.
And he cant travel to so many countries in the limited time.
so there.
Hi santa, i believe in you!
Mhm, going out in a bit to get ramen.
Merry xmas and happy new year! <3 p="p">
