Yesterday was a happy day ^o^ Started "friendship day" with Senior/Junior Picnic with the junior class! THERE IS A GIRL CALLED HANJING IN 14a07.
Hahahha it's quite weird. second girl from the right.
I WISH I ATE SOMETHING, starved through the lit lessons after.
Really glad im in A07 and got to know all these lovely people ^_^ hahahah, the majority-all-girl-class a.k.a only place where class room discussion revolves around:
"Omg, what scent are you wearing?? Smells so good" "Ms Ong's hair is really nice today..." "Ugh, he's so annoying..............." "i dont get boys." "can you not" "HAHAHAH, lit."
welcome to the ultimate girl's world in a mixed school.
Anyway,
it was a short day and i went home relatively early~
Joel had rugby so we decided to meet for a late dinner after his training :)
Btw, do not underestimate the zeros behind a simple looking 1.
10 and 100 has a VAST difference.
;)
i love cards.
there's something about handmade things that fill me up with warmth and fluffy happiness.
"It's the thought that counts"
Handmade gifts, no matter how big or small, dainty or messy, are meaningful as they are concrete evidence that someone has thought and spent time and effort thinking about you.
Don't get me wrong,
i think chocolates, necklaces and all the other stuff are absolutely lovely and im a girly girl so yes my love for them stays ever true,
but i think that genuine words on a card and time spent making something
means a lot too.
After all words and time can't be bought by money.
which makes them ever more precious, am i right?
(:
And i know some might protest that
"cards and flowers are useless cause you cant use them"
but i beg to differ.
Cards & letters are like little treasure boxes filled with love.
They are like instant pills for a dreary day,
pick-me-up(s) at any time.
I keep mine in a safe place,
and although i may not be able to bring them everywhere i go,
i imprint the contents of each one in my head,
soak myself in the luxury of being thought of and cared for.
Also, flowers are lovely lovely lovely things.
temporal beauty but who wouldn't smile at the very sight of them?
grow me a garden,
watch me bloom.
Hahahah, just a little bit of my mind for y'all to peek into (:
Back to yesterday;
we went to Real Food @ somerset for dinner!
it's a cosy veg cafe and i really like the atmosphere of it.
The service is a little bad though :((
not sure if i should just attribute it to the fact that the staff are young teenagers (prob working after Os)
but it's a pity.
Potatoes and Egg Vinegretta
Mushroom Bruschetta
yummy food and lovely company :)
WHERE'S MY FOOOOODDD??
Poor boy was exhausted from training and the food took quite awhile.
Really glad we got to go out even though it was just a couple of hours for dinner (:
