a little infinity.

I've read The fault in our stars.
Finally.

All in the span of 12 hours, in the corner of my bed with the desk lamp turned over with just enough light.

It is a wonderful book.
The right amount of humor, romance and life quotes all in one.
i guess i kinda relate to the book on a more personal level because of my rather.... eventful (?) life in the past year or so.
Death isn't a one day thing my friends.
The grief follows through, buries itself maybe but it's still there even years later.
I guess heartache leave their scars too.

I don't want to talk too much about it rn though, cause we all hate spoilers.
(my sis spoiled the ending for me -_______-)
but that being said, i've a feeling i'll be sneaking in quotes for quite awhile.
i really like the book.

Got me thinking for a bit.
about little infinities.
and how (i quote POBAW) in that moment I swear were infinite.
maybe we were, for that split moment on the grass, or that few hours or so.

i'm thankful for the little infinity we had.
although i do wish it is an infinite infinity.

The world is not a wish-granting factory unfortunately.
but i guess that's what Life has been trying to teach me;
you can't make people stay.

they will pack their bags and go.
and it'll probably hurt like a bitch but that's what Life is isn't it.
you gotta accept it, eventually.

The less bitter fact however is that well, at least we get to keep a fragment or two of them in us.
kinda like memories, only more vivid and realistic.

That aside, it's a remarkably (annoyingly)  hot Sunday afternoon.
i've done nothing the entire day despite waking up feeling rather motivated to start cleaning the room/study.
i guess feelings are nothing without actions huh.

Okay i'll start in like 10 mins after im done blogging.
-that's what i say-

I've been kinda trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life.
and have sadly came to the conclusion that i'm just a rather pathetic teen who spends way too much time on the laptop and my hair in a messy bun.

So i've decided that maybe it's time to at least fulfill one or two things this june holiday.

(i'm kidding, all of these are impromptu decisions that i hope i will actually follow through with.)
*crossfingers*

1. Clear complex numbers and vectors I. (vectors II if i'm game) Cause i've been procrastinating for WAAAAY too long. Even I am getting mad at my own waiting habits UGH.

2. Learn a song on the guitar. All of the stars maybe?

See, i'm being realistic here.
let's just keep it at two.
the rest will be in my own diary, cause... i need my personal space #suckitup.
i'm kidding, thanks for coming over to this virtual space.
it's like a unicorn party over here isn't it

I think the hardest part is how Life just goes on.
and you have to move along but you will always remember that there were better times than this.
and then the scary part comes when you think:
what if that was the best day of your life and nothing will ever beat it?
what do you have left if you lost a little infinity?
