death of the lappy.

34 My lappy died on me this evening.

It's screen flickering endlessly in it's last moments as I tried helplessly to salvage and make sense of the virtual chaos going on.

After the 3rd futile attempt, i gave up.
I picked up the remnants of the metal construct that is no longer of any use, and buried it in the depths of my drawers.

Goodbye lappy, you've served me well for the last two years or so.

Besides the melodramatic episode of my now deceased lappy,
this week has been kind of a rollercoaster?
not a steep one, but a rollercoaster nonetheless.

I think God just gave me an actual sign to focus on getting some decent results instead of well, the computer.

The end of exams celebration is often short-lived as we all know what comes after that- results.

The returning of scripts is pretty much a degrading, demoralizing and demonic event (in this case anyway).

I honestly thought that the number of Us I've been getting since the beginning of the year would have me somewhat immune to it.
And yeah i guess the disappointment isn't thaaaat painful to endure,
but still, eeeeky eeks- ouchy.

Bleh.

The bright side of the week however,
is that i've been exercising and have been ending classes pretty early as my teachers were absent.

Long Breaks = Nap time

I've never been able to master the art of falling into deep sleep in school,
but daaamn, look who's the pro at it now.

I practically sleep for half an hour everyday in school.
and i mean legit deep sleep with actual dreams.

Yeah spot the sleeping girl around in college eh.

Mm.
Right, and i've really been trying to listen in classes and crap.
and been doing my tutorials (about time too).
Gotta say i do feel rather accomplished and actually even enjoy lessons/lectures more now.

Maybe that's how lessons get by faster.

No but seriously, it does feel good to actually be able to list down things that i've learnt at the end of the day.
Pretty different from trudging home with an empty brain.

It's nice to have school to occupy my thoughts.

Also, i've been considering going on a socialmedia diet thingy again.
i've rid myself of Facebook for starters, but can't quite decide what to rid of next, Twitter or Instagram.

Words or Pictures?

No but seriously tho, twitter has been annoying me quite abit recently.
so maybe i'll go with that.
 Mm.
we'll see.

Didn't quite want to give up on this little bloggy thing i have over here,
but now that the lappy is dead.
Guess i won't be able to post as frequently.

Uggggggggh, no more late night movies in my bedroom anymore though D:

sobbies.
hijacking my dad's com for now.

alright i guess that's all i have for today.

oh and lesson of the week:
to empty my mind and simply not expect anything to happen.
that way i save myself some disappointment and just get genuinely surprised if something good happens.
not sure if this theory works but no expectations = no disappointments.
i've to struggle to remind myself in my head though.

endless self persuasion.

P.S

the school has allowed classes to use the air conditioner recently.
which i'm fine with except i do not and can never understand why there is a need to switch on both the air-con and the fans at the same time.

Dude, are you a polar bear?  Why are you making the classroom freaking Antartica.

Excuse you, just pick one.

the actual polar bears are dying.
